She was completed very early this morning.  Now I can start on my new project which I've been wanting to do for a while.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas.  As usual, we spent the Christmas eve with my in-laws in Germany.  Santa dropped by for a visit around 4pm.  See the book he had in his hands? He was telling our daughter, niece and nephew what they've been good and bad at for the whole year.

This picture was taken around 7pm this morning.  The day looked promising without any snow... however...

the snow started around noon today! When will this ever stop?  We had to cancel our dinner with my in-laws as the snow isn't stopping at all.  I wish everyone a Happy New Year in advance.

Snow Storm

She won't be finished before Christmas at all but I think she will be done by end of this year.

I went to a Punsch Rally in Germany last Saturday with my husband and some friends.  Tried a few different punsch.  There is one particular punsch stall which had really lovely punsch.  I never know you can do so many things with warm cocoa.  The stall had like 15 types of cocao with different types of liquor added.  My favourite are eggnog and Baileys.

I took this picture 2 days ago before the snow storm.  The birds must be hungry.  I am not very hardworking when it comes to putting some food into the birdhouse.  I just hate to walk across those inches of snow to get to the birdhouse.

Took some pictures this morning.  The snow storm started yesterday night at our area and it is still snowing heavily.  Wonder when will this stop.  Would love to do some shopping with my daughter today but I am not daring enough to brave through this snow storm.  So, we baked some cookies yesterday evening and going to make some brunsviger later today.

I haven't been really working hard on this project.  Too many birthday parties and Christmas shopping to be done plus shovelling the snow constantly.

Or maybe I can't wait to start on my new project? As mentioned in one of my posts, I've always wanted to stitch a few of Koukiotis's artworks together in lesser stitch count.  I've already planned out 4 charts which I want to start in 2011.

We had a lot of snow but amazingly the snow melted after a few days of sun.  I took my daughter for shopping in Germany last week and within 2 hours, the snow are back again, just like before.

With so much snow, building 3 snowmen was a piece of cake.

We attended a few birthday parties for the last couple of months but I have to say the last one was the best.  Great, simple and traditional Danish food.  It was the birthday of 2 sisters and the parents threw a party for both of them.  As usual, Santa dropped by at the party.  He is actually an old friend of the birthday girls' grandfather.
