I've been stitching on her for the past 1 week. Thought I could finish her up by end of this month but that is a wishful thinking! Give me another 2 to 3 weeks more and she might be done.

Another won Lanarte came into my mailbox today. Now, where is my Lanarte Village Pump? I won that a day before this one. Maybe the seller knows I am eyeing on some of her auctions she has on right now ;0) I just won a Lanarte kit today, wanted to get 5 but got overbid and won 1 only :0(

My brother-in-law and his family came over for coffee today bringing with them a package for me! They travelled from Stuggart and are staying with my inlaws for 3 weeks and 1 out of these 3 weeks, they are going to be in a summer house in Denmark. As I mentioned in my previous post, I ordered 5 French magazines from www.kreative-buecher.de and got them sent to my in-laws in Germany as they had free shipping within Germany on the 23rd June. I am really amazed at how fast the package arrived. I bought De Fil En Aiguille Carnet De Broderie No. 2, Point De Croix No. 59, Point De Croix 58 and Point De Croix 55x2.

For those who are love French magazines, Martina from http://www.kreative-buecher.de/ selects a free shipping day every month for orders over €20. Countries outside of Germany only pay half of the postage fee. Just go to Aktion Portofrei/Free Shipping Event which is right at the bottom of her site and check out her next Free Shipping Event.

DD had an accident yesterday. She was picking something up under the window stil in our room yesterday evening and almost knocked herself out. Look at these 2 marble planks we have. We wanted to change them when we first moved in but they are too heavy to be moved, so we just leave it as it is. See how the other plank popped up? It used to be straight and even until she knocked her head beneath it. Of course she cried a lot. We didn't bring her to the doctor as she was crying and still able to walk straight. We put crushed ice on the back of her head and put her to sleep. We checked her every now and then. DH woked her up at about 12am and asked her whether she had any pain and she said no. I suspect her head is made of steel sometimes.
I called the mum who gave an invitation card to DD, inviting her to a birthday party. I called her (the family is living in Germany), asking her for some details. I found out that it is the younger son who is turning 3 and she is throwing a birthday party for him. The elder son who in the same kindergarten as DD wants to invite some of his OWN friends over on that day too. So, he selected a few of his friends from the kindergarten and DD is one of them. I think we will throw her there and pick her up after the party is over. I think that must be normal for a children's party in Germany. Hmmm... I should buy something for the birthday boy who is turning 3 and of course the boy who invited DD. I have no idea what to buy for a 3 year old and a 6 year old boy. In fact, never know what to buy for boys.
I noticed that my paragraphs' spacing are totally out on my blog. The paragraphs look fine when I am creating a post but the moment I publish it, the spacings are gone! Tried editing few times until I gave up.
